$1 Adventures at Tabletop Armory
I am very happy to announce the launch of the first product line here at Tabletop Armory, $1 Adventures.
These adventures mark a milestone for the company and for me personally, as their development and sales will help to set the stage for future projects and design opportunities. This excerpt from the $1 Adventures Home Page does a better job of explaining this new product line than me trying to put it in different words.
$1 Adventures have two main features that you will not find many other places, and certainly not in the same place at once. First, they are written completely without rules. So many groups play with different gaming systems and are at different power levels that limited these adventures to one specific system and tying them to power level for the group limits the possibilities too much for us to tie your hands like that.
Next, through the use of sidebars called “Action Points” the GM and the players can affect and change the flow and course of the adventure story simply by choosing their own actions over what may be written in the adventure. Action Points are the little push we give GMs and players to give their RPG adventures that needed bit of unpredictability that should be present in a dynamic story telling environment.
As you can see, we are trying something a little different with $1 Adventures and coming back around to one of our original promises of being as RPG system neutral as possible. Tabletop Armory is strongly committed to making adventures, settings, and games accessible to all players without the need to say that we are completely loyal to one gaming system, and $1 Adventures are an important step in seeing that commitment carried out.
The first of the $1 Adventures, Dead Tower Island, is on sale now on DriveThruRPG and RPGNow.

This is cool. It'd be really helpful if you included a short blurb about the actual adventure in the description on DriveThruRPG and RPGNow so that potential buyers would have a sense of the setting.

That is an excellent bit of feedback, and I thank you for taking the time to respond. I have added such a description to the DriveThruRPG and RPGNow product entries, and I hope that it will provide much needed information to those seeking more informed buying practices.
Thanks again,
Dave
