Tabletop Armory Needs Play Testers
The past few months have been exciting for me as I have continued to develop Tabletop Armory as an RPG game design studio. As I am working through learning the steps for properly preparing a product for release, I am now at a point where I need some input from others in order to move into the next steps in development.
I know that many of you have been following my progress on the blog and website, so some of this might be old information. The first major project for Tabletop Armory is a Nordic style fantasy world setting called, Ardorn Fantasy Role Play, or AFRP. I am close to a preview release of the setting, which will be a free for download PDF explaining some of the basic history and current situations in Ardorn, and this preview will be accompanied by several adventures and a temporary set of rules for playing in Ardorn using the Savage Worlds gaming system.
Immediately after the release of the AFRP Preview, I would like to have a few groups available to play test the Savage Worlds rule set that will be released with the final product as well as to play through some of the Plot Points Campaign that will be a major part of the first AFRP book. I am not looking for this to be a grueling or incredibly long play test, and I suspect that any errors or imbalances in the rule set will become apparent and be easily fixed.
If you can’t be a play tester, there still me be another way you can help with the AFRP project, so if you don’t have access to a gaming group or for another reason can’t play test but still want to help, I could have a way for you to contribute. Also, if you know others who might be interested in this play test opportunity, please pass this e-mail along or refer said individuals to me.
All play testers and contributors will receive a free copy of the production run PDF of Ardorn Fantasy Role Play as a thank you from me for your help.
Please send me an e-mail at dave@tabletoparmory.com if you would like to be involved in the AFRP play test.

Supers Event Weeks 4-6
about 2 weeks ago - View Comments
Weeks 4-6 of the Supers campaign has blown by, and we are currently in a two week break after the characters went through a major plot point that resulted in the achievement of Seasoned Rank.
The past three weeks of games have been as widely varied as any I’ve ever played or GM’d.
Week 4 kicked off [...]
“Supers” Sized Update This Week
about 3 weeks ago - View Comments
My coverage of the Supers Event is currently a week behind from the schedule I had been setting for a couple of weeks, and I am planning a very large update later this week that could contain as many as three new Quick Adventures (depending on how behind I finally figure out that I am!) [...]
Supers Event Week 3

Week three kicks off with an adventure meant for that session that either the GM or the players just want to kick some butt and not worry about figuring out riddles, solving mysteries, or investigating the next case. Ambush Square is, simply put, a brawler adventure that allows a team to really flex its super [...]
Supers Event Week 2

This week’s adventure takes places in an office building, and my group decided to hit it up in a Leverage kinda way. We pretty much had a Hitter, a Grifter, a Thief, and a Mastermind. The only think missing was a Hacker, but none of the character are really computer guys. The dude they rescued [...]

Hey everyone, I didn’t want you to think I have abandoned you and the Supers Event already.
This past week I have had to deal with problems with the site including a Media Temple hack that affected this site a few others that I take care of.
The Supers Group has had two sessions since [...]
Supers Gaming Event Series

A friend and I have been looking for a new RPG group to get into, as we very rarely get our full fix of gaming in a regular week, and recently we were able to pull together a Thursday night group that should provide us with more fodder for RPG goodness.
In conjunction with this game, [...]
Hypericon After Report and News Update

Hypericon ended yesterday, and while it was a local and rather smallish con, I have to say that I am nonetheless tired from my weekend.
The AFRP Intro Adventure was well received, with players and onlookers enjoying the brief but not too serious look into the world of Ardorn. I plan to follow up “Sacrifice of [...]

Ok, so the time slot is now official for the Ardorn Fantasy Role Play Intro Adventure game to be held at Hypericon the first weekend in June.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 5th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, and I have clearance to do more sessions on the fly if there is demand for more [...]

Hey everyone. I’ve been moving this weekend, and things have been really crazy. We’re not completely done just yet, but I wanted to go ahead and talk about the Ardorn Fantasy Role Play Intro Adventure I’ll be running at Hypericon in June.
I haven’t been given the time slot(s) for the game(s) just yet, but I [...]

May is proving to be an interesting month for development. I have launched a new project for an upcoming serial module event that will release later this summer. Also, releasing in May will be “Character Pages: Ready to Use Group Stats, Pack 2,” and this new pack will have everything the first pack had and [...]
