Website Change Up
As I have continued to develop Tabletop Armory and find my place in the gaming community, I have become increasingly aware that this blog is not, and should not be, the focus of the company. Thus, I have moved it off the front page of the website, putting in a more static page that talks about Tabletop Armory and the products we offer.
This slight visual shift comes a ways behind a mental shift at the Armory. Community is important to us, and I have had many discussions with my fellow writers and developers (both at TA and in other companies) about what this company’s focus should be. Where we have ended up is in position to make sure that our work in reaching out to the community does not trump our ability to make quality products. Developing a blog readership and active comment community takes a lot of time and energy. While I am not against doing this, I have come to the conclusion that the quality of our products, both free and (soon to be) for sale, is far more important in the long run than how many visitors we have reading our blog.
Is the blog going away? No, it is still here, and will continue to be how I and others at Tabletop Armory reach out to the community and update our fans on what is happening here. But, at least for now, we need to take time and energy that has been going to the blog (If you look at the past few months, I’ve been pushing a once a day posting schedule at times!) and redirect it back to our products.
Thank you all for hanging in there. We’ll make sure it was worth the wait.

It was kind of funny when you posted about this on twitter, as you typically just link to the front page (something you may way to change now that the blog is no longer on the front page) so I came to it on my phone and was wondering, “What's changed..? I Don't get it…” It wasn't until I came to it on my desktop that I saw the changes.
The changes are likely for the better, we run a blog on our front page as we want a way of engaging the community and want people to come talk to us, it's working pretty well for us so far, hopefully the changes for you will produce better results for you.
